My Trip to Guimaras

I went to Guimaras together with my uncles and aunties, and Nanay and Tatay on October 15-16, 2011, as part of the birthday celebration of my Mommy and Tito Gigi. Auntie Inday went home from her work in Makati to be with us.

We stayed in Igang, Guimaras.

I enjoyed swimming. We had a boat trip to the Igang Experimental Station of SEAFDEC-AQD. There I saw live big lapu-lapu and giant turtles. I even held one of them.

Today is my 7th birthday.
But I will not have a celebration.
The celebration was held yesterday because it was a Sunday, and today, I have a class.
When I woke up, I heard my Mommy singing Happy Birthday.
She said that I am beautiful.
She wanted me to get up, but I was so tamad pa because I was still sleepy.
But I have a class at 7:30 this morning.
So i woke up.
I still feel the tiredness after a whole day affair yesterday.
My younger sister, Sariah Kate was baptized at Mandurriao Church, Iloilo City, yesterday morning. After a yummy lunch, we held my birthday party. About fifteen of my classmates came to our house. We played so many games. The games were held in the street just in front of our house. I gave a lot of gifts to the participants. My wearing a blue dress. I loved it.
The foods were prepared by my lolas, and aunties, and cousins.
We had a two-layered cake, and another one for Sariah.
My Uncle from Antique brought in a cartoon of puto. My other auntie brought also a bg of puto.
Oh, there were a lot of foods in our table.
And my classmates enjoyed the games and the gifts we gave them.
I am glad that not a single drinking glass was broken. Or a plate was dropped.
And the weather was fine. Early in the morning, there was rain. But it did not last long. By 11 a.m, it was already shining.
Our house was full of visitors.
My Nanay Bing siad that when I celebrate my 8th birthday, it wil not be as bongga as I had yesterday.

I am with my younger sister, Sariah Kate, three weeks after she was born. Sariah means a princess, while Kate is the wife of Prince Charles of Great Britain. Sariah was born one day before the wedding of Kate and Charles.

Tonight,(April 30, 2011), my Mommy is in Iloilo Doctor's Hospital. She was advised to be admitted because her blood pressure was 150/90. And she is pregnant.

Daddy called up that Mommy would undergo a caesarian operation tonight. He requested that I pray for her and to my younger sister/brother. We do not know yet what would be my younger sibling.

We hope that both my Mommy and my sister/brother would be safe.

God bless you Mommy.

P.S. At around 10:30 p.m. April 30, 2011, my younger sister was born via caesarian at Iloilo Doctor's Hospital. The baby girl is 2.2 kilos, pre-mature.

Yesterday, Prince William (of England)and Kate Middleton were married. They are heir to the thrown.

And tomorrow, Pope John Paul will be beatified in Rome.

It's Christmas time again.
I wrote a letter to Santa Claus.
I asked for some gifts from Santa. I wrote them in a piece of paper and put it inside a sock and hanged it at our window.
Two days after, my letter was still there hanging.
I asked my Tatay Mel why my letter has not been taken by Santa, he told me Santa was still going around to other places.
Tito Gigi asked me if my letter was in English and I said "Yes!"
Tito Gigi said that if it were not in English Santa would not be able to understand it because Santa speaks English.
I waited for Santa's coming to our house.
Until now, he has not come.
When will you visit me?

I Went To Bohol

For two days, I was in Bohol together with my Daddy, Tito Gigi, Tito Dodong, Tita April, Tita Inday, Tito Ruel, and Nanay Bing.

There I saw the tasier, the Chocolate Hills, the Blood Compact Monument. I rode on a banca that ply the Loboc River.

I also went to Cebu. There I slept for a night.

I really enjoyed my trip to these places.

But I got sick there. My Nanay Bing brought me to a doctor for my cough.

When I Grow Up -2

When I grow up, I want to be a teacher.
Every year, thousands of Filipinos graduate and end up without work.
I do not want to be like them. I want to earn more money after I graduated from college.
One way of earning much money is by teaching—teaching in a prestigious university like U.P. or Ateneo or La Salle. And while I am teaching I will conduct researches to find out new medicines to cancer. I will tell my students my new discovery so that they will also discover new things.
That is the reason why I have to study very well so that I will be a top-notch graduate. University officials will then look for me to work in their university.

My Mommy told me that there are millions of people who get sick, and thousands of them have no money to pay the doctors, to buy medicines, and cannot afford to get special care from a highly qualified, experienced, and very competent nurse so that they can work again and earn more money to make their families happy. Also, I want to earn enough money so I can go to many places in the Philippines, America, Australia, and England to learn the cultures of other people. This will provide me more experiences so that when I become an executive, I will be more ready to face life.

My Trip To Hong Kong

I am so lucky that at my age, 5 years old, I was able to travel to Hong Kong.
I went to Hong Kong on June 2-5, 2010.
Actually I reached Hong Kong on the evening of June 2, and left Hong Kong on the morning of June 5.
I was with my Daddy, Nanay Bing, Tatay Mel, Tita Inday, and Mommy Lola Rita.
There in hong Kong I saw so many things which I had not seen before: the Mickey Mouse characters, the house of Tarzan, saw a movie using a 3D eyeglasses. I drove a car together with my daddy.

My School Bag

I lost my school bag this afternoon, May 19, 2010, on my way home from school. It was a plastic bag. I actually forgot it inside a jeep.
My Nanay Bing noticed that I was not holding my bag while we were walking after we alighted from a public jeepney. I was holding it while we were inside the jeep, but when we alighted I forgot all about it.
There my case of pencils, crayons, my assignment notebook and my writing pad.
Anyway, according to my Nanay Bing, it is almost the end of our summer classes. Two days from now is our last day of classes.
But when we were taking our supper tonight, I told my Mommy that Nanay Bing got angry when she learned that my school bag was left inside the jeepney we were riding on. However, my Tito Gigi promised to buy me a new bag and my new set of pencils, crayons, writing pad and notebook.
When I grow up, I will surely remember this incident.

My Next School

After my graduation at Iloilo Doctor's College Pre-School, I will enrole at the Iloilo City Central Elementary School.
Not as first grade because I am only five years old.
But as a Prep II pupil.
When I took the entrance exam I was in top ten out of about three hundred applicants. So I will be in the Star Section.
This is a section for special pupils.
That's something to be proud of.
My Mommy was of course very proud of me. So was my Nanay Bing.
And the rest of my family circle.
Meanwhile, I am enjoying the summer break. I play with my friends in our neighbor.
There is this game where we use both our hands. I really enjoy this game.
It has this line: Kung sino ang magkamali, pipingutin ko.
But I heard that I would attend a one-month summer class in my new school to better prepare for my next school activities this coming June.
Also I was told that we would go to Hong Kong this coming June together with my Daddy, Nanay Bing, Tita Inday, Tita Belle and Tatay Mel.
That would another exciting trip.
I am so lucky to have parents and grandparents who are giving me this opportunity to travel not only in the Philippines but abroad.

I Graduated Again!

When I received an award.

I again graduated!
This time in Kinder II.
I did not only graduate.
I graduated with honors.
I was the 8th honor graduate out of 45 pupils in Iloilo Doctor's Pre-School, Molo, Iloilo City. I also got another honor as an Outstanding Body Kinetics Graduate. Really I do not know that term!
But I got two awards.
So my Mommy got tired of taking pictures of me. So was my Daddy. Nanay Bing, as usual, was also there. Tito Dodong came home early from Bacolod to witness this special event. Tatay Mel did no see me graduate as it was very hot. I understand.
When we reached home, Daddy prepared Red Chicken for me. And for the whole family.
What is Red Chicken? Secret. But that's the best recipe my Daddy has been cooking for me. And I like it very much.

Wow. I went to Bacolod together with Mommy, and Nanay Bing to attend a birthday party of Tita Mykha's father on February 21, 2010. Tita Mykha and Tito Gigi were already in Bacolod.
But I vomited before we reached the pier of Bacolod.
And when we were already in the house of Tita Mykha, it was decided that we proceed to Cebu, then to Iloilo.

Yesterday afternoon, January 1, 2010, I saw a movie at SM City together with my Mommy, Nanay Bing, my Tita Jam Jam, Tita Mia, Babette, the first cousin of Tita Mia. Although it was a horror movie, it was a comedy. So we had a good laugh.

I remember the first I saw a horror movie, I asked Tito Gigi to leave the movie house because I was so afraid. Since then, I like to see horror movie. Even in our house whenever there is a horror movie shown in tv, I demand that I see it.

On Christmas Day, December 25, 2009, my Mommy thought of having a fashion show in our house. So my Tita Mia, her cousin, Bernadette, and I were dressed up. After that we had our fashion show, complete with talent shows. Our audience were of course my Mommy and Daddy, Nanay Bing and Tatay Mel, my other cousins. Oh how we enjoyed the show.

This morning while we were taking our breakfast, we talked about my dresses which have become smaller to me.
So when Tatay Mel asked me to whom I would give them, I told him I would give my dresses to my sister. When he asked me of her name I said, Desena.
My Mommy, Nanay Bing and Tatay Mel got surprised upon hearing it.
My Mommy thought it was Theresa.
But I said no. It's Desena.
So Tatay Mel asked me to spell it.
I said, D E S E N A.
After our breakfast, Nanay Bing called me Desena, instead of Sean.
Where I got that name, I also wonder. It just sparked into my mind.

New Lessons

My classes are becoming tougher and tougher.
We are now in subtraction, after our addition lessons.
But each time we have a quiz, I always get 100% correct score, especially in mathematics.
But in my Reading, I don't always get 100% correct scores.
We are also studying apposite words, like good, bad; black, white.
I hope that I can improve my class standing. I was ranked number 4 during the last grading, out of 34 pupils in our class.
After my Mommy and my Daddy, Tatay Mel, Tito Janno and Tita Jam Jam have left for work or their classes, there are only two of us, Nanay Bing and I, who are left in the house. Then we go to school and return home at about 4:30. Then I will play with my playmates in our place.
Tatay Mel bought me flash cards on subtraction. This will surely help me in my class.

I was really very happy.
Many of my playmates came to our house to celebrate my birthday.
My parents and my Nanay Bing and Tatay Mel and my uncles were all around to celebrate my birthday.

Two nights ago, while I was eating my supper, I vomitted the food I was eating becasue I felt a bone stuck on my throat. My Mommy told me to vomit more, then told me to drink water. Later she told me to eat potatoe which was part of the food I was eating. But still I felt there was something on my throat. I cried. Daddy told me to say something, and I did. My Tatay Mel told my Daddy to dress up and bring me to the hospital. But no, we did not. Nanay Bing told Tito Gigi to buy me banana. And so he motored to the nearest store. When I learned that Tito Gigi had left, I complained because he did not bring me along.
That signaled that I was feeling well. So when Tito Gigi arrived with his bunch of ripe banana, my feeling was already OK. The I started to talk, and laugh with my Mommy.
But I knew how scared my Tatay Mel and Nanay Bing were of that little incident.
I overheard why Daddy told me to say something because if something had really covered my throat, I could not talk.
I remember about two or three years ago when my parents brought me to a nearby hospital when I was suspected to have swallowed a coin. I told my Mommy then that I did not swallow a coin, but she did not believe me.

Summer Classes 2009

This picture was taken in San Remigio, Antique when I went there for a vacation. This is a river that separates the old town from the new one.

Today starts our summer classes at Iloilo Doctor's College. The focus of our summer is to learn how to read.
Nanay Bing accompanied me to school, after which we went to SM City to take our lunch.
It is fortunate that I have no more fever.
Yesterday, my Mommy and Daddy brought me to the Manghihilot. I do not know but after the massage, I was OK. The manghihilot said that I have kibit.
I was able to sleep well last night and this morning, i was very much OK. That is the reason why I was able to go to school.

But yesterday afternoon, May 3, 2009, I got LBM. I lost my appetite to eat.
Good that my Daddy and my Mommy were very caring. they gave me medicine.

I Tried Laundrying

Yesterday afternoon, since I had nothing to do, and I had no playmate to play with, and since my Daddy, and my Nanay Bing were busy with their own works, I went near our "bomba" and there I saw a labador of clothes for washing. They had been soaked by my Daddy earlier. And when I saw them, I washed them all! When my Nanay Bing saw me, she told my Daddy to see what I was doing. So there I was washing clothes, mostly mine.

When Nanay Bing came near me, I told her "Para indi na ikaw maglaba!"

In the evening when Mommy came home from work, Daddy told her that we had a secret.

Later I revealed to Mommy what it was. I whisphered to her: "Naglaba ako!"

Mommy was not happy to know it because I might get allergy from the washing soap.

I felt sad.

Behind me is the Famous Jaro Cathedral, Iloilo City. It was in this cathedral where Graciano Lopez Jaena was baptized.

Please take note that my hair is short.

My Dad, my Mommy, Nanay bing and I went to Jaro Cathedral to visit the Santo Intiero--the dead Papa Jesus. This was the first time that I saw such Santo.
The Cathedral was full of devotees.
After our visit, we went home.

I Am In Antique

My Dad and I went to Antique for a short vacation. Our classes have just ended. My Nanay Bing is also in Antique. Soon my Tito Dodong and Tito Gigi will follow us.

Last week my Lola Lucia, the elder sister of Tatay Mel visited us here together with my other relatives.
